Daryl Millard has been handed a new two-year deal at Catalan Dragons.

The 27-year old has scored 17 tries in 38 appearances since moving to the south of France last season.

Millard caught the headlines this season by scoring a sensational team try in the final moments of an early season Super League match at Langtree Park against St Helens.

He said he was delighted to be staying in Perpignan at a time when the Dragons are doing well.

He said: “I’m very happy to sign a new two years contract with the Catalans. The team is going well, I’m very happy with the coaching staff so staying here was an easy decision to take. I made very good friends in the team and my partner is very happy here.”
