Danny McGuire out for Hull KR while Mark Flanagan and Greg Johnson return for Salford

Hull Kingston Rovers ace Danny McGuire has been ruled out for Friday’s trip to Salford while Mark Flanagan and Greg Johnson are set to return for the Red Devils.

Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson to his squad that lost at Wakefield Trinity two weeks ago. Johnson and Flanagan return to the fray in place of George Griffin and Derrell Olpherts.

Hull KR half-back McGuire has been ruled out through injury but Tim Sheens has Andrew Heffernan, Nick Scruton and James Greenwood at his disposal, with the pair returning from injury.

Chris Clarkson and Will Oakes are the two players to drop out of the KR squad.

The game takes at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday night, 8pm kick-off.
