Danny Langtree injury doubt for Oldham

Oldham have doubts over second-row pair Danny Langtree and Danny Bridge ahead of Sunday’s 1895 Cup clash with Doncaster.

Langtree, 28, moved to Hull in the close season but returned to the Roughyeds in April without making a single Super League appearance.

He has a sternum injury, while Bridge has a groin problem.

They are two further blows to Oldham coach Scott Naylor, who lost winger Kyran Johnson to a broken jaw following the win at Keighley at the weekend.

Johnson is likely to be out for up to eight weeks.

Naylor has already lost widemen Lee Kershaw, who has returned to parent club Wakefield, and Aaron Jones-Bishop through a season-ending injury.

They do have their newly-forged dual-registration partnership with Championship side Leigh to call upon if needed.
