Bradford talisman Dane Chisholm has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The Australian half-back joined the club for a second time last May and has made a total of 40 appearances in his two spells with the Bulls.

Chisholm, 28, enjoyed spells at Melbourne Storm and Canterbury Bulldogs before moving to Bradford. He even had a short stint at Sheffield Eagles in 2017.

Bradford coach John Kear commented: “I’m delighted Dane has committed to the club.

“He is a very important member of our squad and offers talent and experience to the team.

“He is one of the final pieces in the jigsaw and we believe we have put together a squad capable of challenging in the Championship next year.”

Bulls’ chairman Andrew Chalmers added: “This is another great signing for the Bradford Bulls.

“I’m pleased to have Dane playing for us again next year. Retaining all our key players is important for the club as we progress along our journey.

“The 2019 season will be a truly exciting year as we battle in a competitive Championship.”
