Less than 1,000 tickets remain unsold for the eagerly-awaited Carnegie Challenge Cup Final between Engage Super League champions Leeds Rhinos and Carnegie Challenge Cup holders Warrington Wolves on Saturday August 28.

The RFL Ticket Office was inundated with ticket requests for the second successive weekend as Leeds and Warrington supporters snapped up tickets for what promises to be a magnificent occasion at Wembley.

The response for tickets has been unprecedented with supporters making the trip to the capital from all over the world including Australia, North America, Asia, Africa and throughout Europe.

“We urge supporters still wishing to attend the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final to book their seats now to avoid disappointment,” said RFL Customer Services Manager Kevan Williams.

“There is a real appetite from Rugby League fans to be at Wembley for what should be a classic final between two of the game’s big guns.

“The build up to the match has captured the imagination of the public and we are confident by the end of this week that we will be announcing the first sell out since the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final returned to Wembley in 2007.”

Supporters can still buy tickets by contacting the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 8561113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk.
