Huddersfield centre Leroy Cudjoe may have played his last game of the season due to knee trouble.
Cudjoe, 29, has made 18 appearances in 2017 and has been awarded a testimonial for next year following his long service.
Coach Rick Stone told the club’s official website: “Leroy’s knee is getting to a stage where I don’t know if he’ll play again this season. He’s seeing a consultant down in London and we’ll find out more from that.
“He’s has been battling a knee injury all year because he’s not been able to be at his best and he’s carried the team even when he’s not been 100%.
“We’ve got to a stage where we need to do something about it and if he does need surgery then we’ll get that done immediately but if not then he’ll start a rehabilitation plan to get him back.”
Huddersfield continue their Super 8s campaign with a trip to Salford on Saturday.
