Crusaders retire shirt number 35

North Wales Crusaders have retired their shirt number 35 in memory of six-year-old Jaxon Langford.

Jaxon was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma in 2015 and became a familiar face around the club this season.

Jaxon was handed squad number 35 by Mike Grady in June 2017 and the club has confirmed that the number will now be retired in his memory.

A club statement added: “Everyone at the club would like to send their deepest condolences to Jaxon’s family.”

The news came following North Wales 20-12 win over Hunslet.
