Crusaders announce squad line-up

Celtic Crusaders have finally released details of their squad line-up for the 2009 engage Super League season.nnCoach John Dixon has a policy of waiting until all signings are completed before announcing which players are joining, and which players have left the club.nnThe Crusaders have brought in six overseas acquistions as well as three domestic signings.nnIncoming are Manly Sea Eagles‘ prop Mark Bryant, a former Australian schoolboy who notched his 100th NRL appearance earlier this year. nnJoining him at the Brewery Field is West Tigers’ Ryan O’Hara. O’Hara has won the Rookie of the Year accolade as well as featuring in a State of Origin game.nnCronulla Sharks’ prop Adam Peek, Canberra Raiders‘ back Marshall Chalk, North Queensland Cowboys’ utility forward Ben Vaeau and half-back Lincoln Withers from Canberra Raiders complete the in-bound foreign contingency.nnThe Crusaders, meanwhile, have dipped in to the Super League market signing Steve Tyrer, Matty Smith and Peter Lupton from St Helens and Castleford respectively.nnThe Welsh side have also announced the departures of seven of their 2008 squad.nnPaul Ballard and ex-American Football player Philippe Gardent have been released, while Aaron Summers and Ian Webster have both joined Central Queensland Comets in Australia.nnGareth Dean and Neale Wyatt have both headed south to France to play for Carcasssone and Pia respectively. Jamie I’Anson has also been snapped up by Oldham Roughyeds.
