Cronulla has won its 14th game in a row with a 32-20 win over the Sydney Roosters.

The Sharks, who are on top of the table, have become just the fifth NRL team to win 14 matches straight.

The NRL record is 19 matches in a row, achieved by Eastern Suburbs in 1975.

Cronulla join the 1932 Rabbitohs side to be victorious in 14 straight games.

In 2013 Melbourne won 15 games straight.

The Sharks are aiming to win a grand final as they have never tasted premiership success in their history.
