St George second row Ben Creagh says his team mates are training “extremely hard” in a bid to retain their NRL crown in 2011.

The Dragons’ player of the year got married during the off-season and has spent time basking in the club’s first ever NRL premiership.

But now the NSW Blues forward is keen to help the Dragons repeat their success in 2011.

“It has been exciting over the last few months with a lot of happy Dragons fans all over the country,” said Creagh.

“This season will be another big challenge for us all but myself and the boys are all training extremely hard.

“While I got married during the break I still managed a few weight sessions and a couple of running sessions too.”

Darius Boyd, Brett Morris, Jason Nightingale, Nathan Fien and Dean Young are all set to resume training next week after their involvement in the Four Nations tournament.

The Dragons have some tough pre-season fixtures against South Sydney in the Charity Shield on February 13 before facing Canterbury on February 18.

They will then travel to the UK to take on Super League champions Wigan Warriors in the 2011 World Club Challenge on February 27.
