Widnes stand-off Danny Craven has been ruled out for three months after suffering a fractured collarbone in the win over London.

Craven, 21, was helped off the field during the 28-14 win at Twickenham Stoop, and will undergo surgery.

The Vikings academy product made 18 appearances last season, and was named the club’s Young Player of the Year.

He tweeted: “Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has wished me well for recovery, gutted isn’t the word.”

The former Blackbrook and West Bank Bears junior made his debut for the Vikings against Whitehaven back in July 2010.
