The Challenge Cup fourth round tie between Dewsbury Rams and Widnes Vikings will be shown live by The Sportsman.

The fixture takes place on Sunday, April 2, with a 3pm kick-off.

BBC Sport have already announced that they will stream the fourth round clash between York Knights and Sheffield Eagles earlier on April 2, kicking off at 12:30pm.

John Kear’s Widnes defeated London-based Wests Warriors 80-4 at the DCBL Stadium in the previous round. The head coach is in his first full season with the club, having been appointed last June.

He famously guided Sheffield Eagles to Wembley victory over Wigan in 1998, and later won the prestigious competition with Hull seven years later over Leeds in Cardiff.

Widnes themselves are seven-times Challenge Cup winners.

Liam Finn’s Dewsbury defeated fellow League 1 outfit Rochdale Hornets 38-18 in the third round to cement their place in the next stage. The Rams lost to Wigan in the first Wembley final in 1929.

The winner of the tie will travel to either London Broncos or Doncaster in the fifth round, with both round draws having taken place earlier this month.
