Experienced front-rower Ollie Purslow has joined Coventry for the 2019 season.
Purslow has racked up over 200 career appearances, having previously played for London Skolars, Gloucestershire All Golds and London Broncos.
The forward will move to Birmingham in the new year and will represent the Bears in League 1 next term.
On joining Coventry, Purslow said: “I joined Coventry because whenever I have played against them in the past, they have always appeared to be a close-knit team, with great unity and I wanted to be part of that.
“I have also spoken to Tom [Tsang] over the last two or three seasons whenever we have played and have been very impressed by him.
“My personal ambition is to bring some added experience to the team, and some aggression.
“I have played over 200 games at this level and want to help the team have the best season to date and cause as many upsets as we can. I am really look forward to the season starting.”
