Coventry Bears and popular sports networking site Sportesk.com have launched a new partnership in the hunt for talented rugby players.

Building on an already successful recruitment campaign for the 2013 National Conference League season, the Bears have shown their ongoing commitment in discovering and developing Rugby League talent by joining forces with one of the fastest-growing global sports networking sites.

Sportesk allows users to create an online profile like no other, where players can highlight their sporting attributes, enabling them to network and create opportunities in the process, and is endorsed by England international and Melbourne Storm player Gareth Widdop.

James Chapman, Managing Director of Sportesk.com said ‘Going into partnership with Coventry Bears is fantastic for us. The ethics of Sportesk.com, a social network for all involved in sport, fits in completely with Coventry Bears recruitment scheme.’

‘We have been given a great opportunity to showcase what Sportesk can do in creating pathways for sportsmen and women, whilst helping Coventry Bears in their mission. By creating a database of talent, we hope to open up more opportunities within Rugby League.’

Bears Media Manager Chris Norris added ‘We’re thrilled to be partnering with Sportesk.com to help with our player recruitment. As a club we search not only the midlands, but the entire globe to uncover talented Rugby League players, and with two such forward-thinking and ambitious organisations working closely together, that search will be unrivalled at this level of the sport.’

‘This innovative partnership is one of many we’ll be looking to create as we continue to build the club, it’s brand and profile towards entry into Championship 1 next season.’

Coventry Bears are looking for players of all ages, abilities and experience to join the club and be part of a sporting success story. Players interested in playing for the Bears can fill out a simple form on the ‘Play For’ page on the official club website, and click on the Sportesk.com banner to become part of the fantastic Sportesk.com network.
