Cougars fly the flag

Keighley Cougars have commissioned a brand new fans’ flag ahead of this Thursday’s televised clash against Dewsbury.

Keighley face the high flying Rams twice in the next six weeks, with both games live on SKY, and the club have come up with an extra special way for fans to make their presence felt.

Cougars General Manager Helen Carter said: “At many of the clubs where SkySports’ cameras have been for the televised Thursday night Championship games there have been increased attendances.

“That steps up the match-day atmosphere for the fans.  We wanted to give the Cougar fans something to wave and join in the fun when we play the Rams.”

The flags cost £4 each and can be purchased from the Keighley Cougars shop at Cougar Park.

And as an added bonus if fans buy their flags at the home game against Rochdale Hornets on Sunday, June 28 they will qualify for a £1 discount off their admission cost to the televised game at Cougar Park against the Rams on Thursday, July 30.

“That has to be great value for the fans,” added Helen.
