Connor Robinson has agreed a new one-year deal with York.

The 24-year-old half-back came through the academy ranks at Hull KR before moving to Halifax and then York.

Robinson helped the Knights gain promotion to the Championship last year as he won the League 1 Player of the Year award after scoring 404 points in 27 games.

Knights coach James Ford said: “I’m really pleased that Connor has decided to re-sign with York.

“He’s played an important role in the development of the team and club since he came here.

“I believe Connor is one of the country’s best young half-backs and if he continues to strive for improvement on and off the field I’m positive he will continue to develop.”

York welcome Bradford to Bootham Crescent on Sunday, 3pm kick-off.
