League 1 side North Wales Crusaders have announced the signings of Connor Aspey and Ethan O’Hanlon on loan.

Aspey, 19, joins from Super League club Salford on an initial two-week loan, and could feature in the Welsh derby over the weekend as Anthony Murray’s side travel to West Wales Raiders.

O’Hanlon, 20, joins from Bradford, having come through the club’s academy system.

He said: “I’m over the moon and it’ll be good for me to get some game time.  I want to be playing week in week out, give it my best shot and see how it goes from there.

“I haven’t played much since pre-season so I’m really excited and absolutely ready for it. You can expect me to be hard working as I just want to help the team out wherever I can. I’m a young player who’s raring to go as I want to go out there, show people what I can do and gain some experience.”
