Cockayne free to face Salford

Hull KR fullback Ben Cockayne is free to face Salford this Sunday after escaping sanction for a dangerous contact charge in the loss to Huddersfield.

Cockayne was charged following Sunday’s 38-6 defeat to the Giants.

But no further action has been taken after an early guilty plea, and the outside back will available to feature against the Red Devils.

The news is a boost to Hull KR with the club already missing several key players.
