Wigan prop Tony Clubb is wishing all the best to his team-mates, as they prepare to face Leeds on Saturday at Magic Weekend in Newcastle.

The 27-year-old will be missing out on this year’s event with a knee injury, but he will be following Wigan’s progress from home.

“You won’t see me,” he said.

“I’ll be at home!

“But I’m disappointed not to be here, it’s a good weekend for everyone.

“I’m disappointed for me, but excited for everyone else.”

Wigan were well beaten by Catalans in Perpignan last week, and Clubb acknowledges that the squad have work to do in order to improve.

“We are in a bit of poor form at the minute,” he admitted.

“But we’re looking to rectify that.”
