Clark: Castleford will bounce back

test

Castleford hooker Daryl Clark says that the Tigers will recover quickly from the disappointment of losing out on the League Leaders Shield.

Clark, 21, has been instrumental in Castleford’s rise to an eventual fourth placed finish this year, and he earned a place in the Super League Dream Team in the process.

Alongside the rest of the Tigers squad, he now has his sights set on play-off success.

“We need to knuckle down and get on with it,” said Clark.

“The squad is disappointed but there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves, we have a fantastic opportunity in front of us, and we are looking to take it.

“We have shown time and again this season that we can compete with anyone, so although St Helens have more play-off experience, we are confident.”
