City have rolled Country 44-30 in Tamworth with Aaron Gray grabbing four tries.

It was an impressive display from City who were led by Panthers back-rower Bryce Cartwright.

The young forward forward did his Origin chances no harm with a dominant display.

Cartwright terrorised Country with his ball-running and kicking game, as City went ahead 18-6 at half-time.

Country had completed more sets and missed less tackles, but City were much more clinical with the ball.

They kept up the pressure after the break, scorung three quick tries to go 34-6 in front after just 46 minutes.

Souths winger Gray had a field day and Penrith flyer Josh Mansour also touched down.

Dragons centre got one back for Country to keep them in the match. Then Jack De Bellin barged over the 58th minute to make it 34-18.

City responded with Gray’s fourth for the day and a score for Ryan Matterson.

James Maloney picked up two late four-pointers to make the score more respectable for Country.
