Widnes co-captain Chris Houston and Catalans front-rower Sam Moa have received two-match penalty notices.

Vikings forward Houston has been handed a two-match penalty notice for disputing a decision made by a match official in their 26-12 defeat at Salford Red Devils on Thursday night.

The 33-year-old was originally sin-binned for a late shot on Greg Burke, but he sarcastically clapped the referee’s decision and was sent off as a result.

Meanwhile, Tonga star Moa also received a two-match penalty notice by the match review panel for a Grade B high tackle in the Dragons’ 26-25 loss at Huddersfield Giants.

Elsewhere, Wakefield Trinity front-rower David Fifita was cautioned by the match review panel for a dangerous contact in their loss to Warrington Wolves.
