Chris Hankinson could make his Wigan debut on Thursday, while St Helens will be without in-form back-rower Zeb Taia.

Shaun Wane has made three changes to his Wigan Warriors side that lost at Huddersfield Giants last week. Dan Sarginson, Joe Greenwood and Hankinson come in for Oliver Gildart, Sean O’Loughlin and Ollie Partington.

Hankinson has joined Wigan from Swinton with immediate effect for an undisclosed fee on a deal until 2020, with the option of a further year.

St Helens coach Justin Holbrook has made just one change to his team that beat Hull FC last time out. Youngster Jack Ashworth replaces the injured Taia.

The Super League Round 22 clash takes place at the DW Stadium on Thursday, 7:45pm kick-off.

Warriors 19-man squad: Bateman, Clubb, Davies, Escaré, Flower, Hankinson, Greenwood, Hamlin, Isa, Kibula, Leuluai, Marshall, Navarette, Paisley, Powell, Sarginson, Tautai, Tomkins, Woods.

Saints 19-man squad: Lomax, Makinson, Morgan, Percival, Swift, Fages, Roby, Amor, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Douglas, Knowles, Thompson, Peyroux, Richardson, Grace, Lees, Ashworth, Barba.
