Chester wants more aggression from Green

Hull KR coach Chris Chester wants prop James Green to be more aggressive in the 2016 season.

Chester feels that the big front rower has the potential to be something special in the sport, but he needs to make full use of his strength and size to establish himself in Super League.

“I want Greeny to really kick on because there is some talent in there,” Chester told the Hull Daily Mail.

“He’s an aggressive runner of the ball and I want him to be as aggressive without the ball.

“Again, it’s a consistency issue. He carries the ball strongly and the supporters see two or three good carries, but what we look at as coaches is what he does off the ball.

“That’s certainly what we’ll be looking at with Greeny in pre-season. He’s a player that needs to be more consistent defensively.”
