Chester unafraid of Catalans Cup tie

Hull KR coach Chris Chester insists his team have nothing to fear from a home Challenge Cup quarter final tie against Catalans Dragons.

Rovers knocked Wigan out of the competition at Leigh Sports Village on Friday, and have also enjoyed previous success against the Dragons in 2015.

“The cup is a one-off competition and we don’t fear any team,” Chester told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We showed against Wigan we can beat anyone.

“It would be nice to get a big crowd for the quarter-final at the KC Lightstream Stadium at the end of June, but we have a few league games to play before we face Catalans.

“We’ve beaten the Dragons at home and we ran them close at their place too.”
