Charlie Lawrence pens new London Skolars contract

London Skolars have given half-back Charlie Lawrence a new deal for the 2019 campaign.

The 24-year-old joined the Skolars in 2015 from Hemel Stags.

Lawrence, who can also play at hooker, will remain at the New River Stadium throughout 2019.

On committing to the Skolars, the London-born half said: “I’m really pleased to have signed another year with the club.

“I think with the players have brought in to the club and also re-signed, we can have a really successful season this year and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Skolars’ coach Jermaine Coleman commented: “Charlie is a really skilful player who brings a lot of creativity to the team.

“He has been playing at this level for a few years now and I think he’s in for a really big year. It’s his really big opportunity to kick on this year and lead the team.”
