Fixtures for the first week of play-offs in the Betfred Championship have been confirmed, with York travelling to the South of France to take on Toulouse.

Having secured promotion from the third tier last season, James Ford’s side have exceeded all expectations, amassing 19 wins from their 27 games.

The Knights suffered a narrow 30-26 defeat at the Stade Ernest-Argeles back in round 12, before losing at Bootham Crescent in the return fixture less than two months later.

Defeat for both Featherstone and Leigh yesterday mean that they will go head-to-head at Leigh Sports Village in the Elimination Final.

The winner between the Knights and Olympique will travel to table-topping Toronto in week two, while the loser will go on to face the winners of the eliminator.

Sky have already confirmed that all games from the Betfred Championship play-offs will be televised.

Play-off’s week 1:

Toulouse Olympique v York City Knights (Stade Ernest-Argeles)

Leigh Centurions v Featherstone Rovers (Leigh Sports Village)
