
Dewsbury hooker Robbie Ward and Halifax star Ed Barber are set to face suspensions.
Following last weekend’s Yorkshire Cup fixtures, the match review panel have sanctioned Ward with a two-match penalty notice for Grade C dangerous contact.
The Rams secured a place in the semi-finals of the Yorkshire Cup with a 20-14 win over Featherstone Rovers at the Tetley’s Stadium on Saturday. Ward was sin-binned for the dangerous contact.
Meanwhile, Barber has received a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B trip in Halifax’s 26-16 defeat to Bradford Bulls at Odsal on Sunday.
Barber was sin-binned in the 52ndminute of the game, with team-mate Ben Kavanagh also being shown a yellow card for a late tackle. Bradford’s Jordan Lilley was sin-binned for punching.
