There were a whole host of rearranged games in the Championship and League 1 on the weekend.

Halifax moved up to third in the Championship table with a 32-18 win over Batley Bulldogs at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium on Saturday. Ben Heaton bagged a brace for Fax, while Wales international Chester Butler put in a man of the match performance.

Rochdale Hornets claimed revenge for their Summer Bash defeat with a hard-fought 25-18 win over Great Manchester rivals Swinton Lions at Heywood Road on Sunday. Wigan players Liam Paisley and Gabe Hamlin featured for the Lions. Jonah Cunningham and Pat Moran played for the Hornets on loan from Leigh and Warrington respectively.

In League 1, Oldham put in a very good performance to beat Doncaster 32-12 at the Vestacare Stadium on Sunday. Wakefield duo Luke Hooley and Lee Kershaw scored for the Roughyeds while on loan.

Aiden Hema put in a very strong display in the pack for Hunslet as they edged past Whitehaven 39-32 at the South Leeds Stadium on Saturday. David Foggin-Johnston scored two tries for Hunslet, while Ellis Gillam and Jimmy Watson were sin-binned.

West Wales Raiders are still searching for their win as a semi-professional side after losing 82-20 to Newcastle Thunder, but they held the lead for the first time ever. They went 10-0 up in the first 11 minutes, but Thunder then scored 15 tries, including three from Lewis Young, to claim a convincing win.
