Swinton’s ambitious recruitment over the last few months has signalled their intentions of getting among the front-runners this season.
Paul Kidd has been ‘moved upstairs’ and takes of the role of head of coaching, with Paul Smith replacing him as first team coach. Ian Watson will assist Smith and there’ll no shortage of experience on the field with Graham Holroyd, Phil Joseph and Dana Wilson all still capable of making a massive impact, particularly at this level.
Swinton fans will see an improvement on last season’s finish and can expect to have a say in who finishes where come October.
