Champ & L1: Wildie commits to Leigh, York retain Teanby & Coventry make two additions

Championship

Dewsbury have retained back-rower Rhys Davies for the 2021 Championship season. The Welshman joined the Rams in 2020 after impressing on trial.

Leigh hooker Matty Wildie will be staying with the Centurions until at least the end of 2021. The 29-year-old joined Leigh from Bradford prior to the 2020 campaign getting underway.

York have confirmed that prop Jack Teanby has signed a new one-year deal with the club. He appeared in all six of the Knights’ competitive games in 2020.

League 1

Coventry have announced the signings of young half-backs Jordan Paga and Kian Morgan ahead of the 2021 campaign. Paga has represented England Colleges, Halifax’s academy and Huddersfield’s reserves while Morgan has played for England Colleges, Halifax’s academy and Castleford’s reserves.
