Championship

Whitehaven winger Dave Thompson is the latest player to commit to the club for the 2021 Championship season. He has signed a one-year deal with the Cumbrian club.

Sheffield returned to training this week under Stage 1 – Return to Train (RTT) guidelines. Players carried out various strength and fitness tests and medical screenings ahead of the club’s main pre-season training in November. Stage 1 training does not require testing for coronavirus but players must train in small groups with no physical contact.

Leigh have signed forward Matty Gee from Hull KR for the 2021 season. He has made nine appearances for the Robins so far this year.

League 1

Barrow have announced the re-signing of Mark Tyson on a one-year deal. He impressed for the Raiders during their pre-season friendlies and has committed to the club for next season.
