Champ & L1: Sa’u future, Flanagan’s new deal & Jamaica star commits to Dewsbury

Championship

Leigh centre Junior Sa’u has signed a new one-year deal with the club. The 33-year-old, who has represented New Zealand and Samoa internationally, joined the Centurions midway through the 2019 campaign and has made 12 appearances so far.

Bradford hooker George Flanagan has signed a new one-year contract with the Bulls. The 33-year-old becomes the 17th member of John Kear’s roster for 2021.

Full-back or half-back Dan Abram has committed to Oldham for the 2021 Championship campaign. Abram has previously played for Barrow, Whitehaven and Rochdale.

Jamaica international Jon Magrin has signed a new deal with Dewsbury for 2021. The 25-year-old will be hoping to have a big year for the Rams next season as he looks to represent Jamaica at the 2021 World Cup.

League 1

Barrow have announced the re-signing of Luke Cresswell ahead of the 2021 League 1 season. He is a product of Barrow Island ARLFC.

Coventry have signed back-rowers Kieran Sherratt and Sam Bowring for next year. Sherratt arrives at the Bears from North Wales Crusaders, while Bowring signs from Batley.

West Wales Raiders have announced the re-signing of Emosi Nadaubale for 2021.

Full-back or winger Gabe Fell has signed a two-year deal with Workington. He will remain at Town until at least the end of 2022.
