Champ & L1: Ioane stays with Leigh, Kesik commits to Keighley & Dewsbury retain Scotland international

Championship

Dewsbury winger Davey Dixon has committed his future to the club for 2021. The Scotland international will be hoping to have a good season in the Championship as he aims to make it into the Bravehearts squad for next year’s World Cup.

York have announced that outside-back AJ Towse will be remaining with the club for 2021 on community dual-registration terms from Heworth.

Leigh prop Mark Ioane has extended his contract with the club until the end of 2021. The 29-year-old has made more than 120 career appearances for Gold Coast Titans, St George Illawarra Dragons, London Broncos and Leigh.

League 1

Keighley hooker Kyle Kesik has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Cougars. He was appointed captain following his arrival from Doncaster last year.

Hunslet have announced that quartet Kiedan Hartley, Matty Chrimes, Harvey Hallas and Danny King have committed to the club for next season.

Workington have signed utility forward Lewis Brown for 2021. Brown came through the ranks at Seaton Rangers and Salford before moving to Whitehaven. He will represent Town next year.
