St Helens edged past Huddersfield Giants 22-16 at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday.

Hull FC eased past Castleford Tigers 28-12 at the KCOM Stadium.

Jake Connor, Bureta Faraimo, Albert Kelly and Mark Minichello scored for the Black and Whites.

Hull KR performed a stunning second half comeback to beat Salford Red Devils 32-18 at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Kane Linnett, Josh Drinkwater, Junior Vaivai, Danny Addy and Weller Hauraki went over for the Rovers.

Bradford Bulls came up with the result of the round as they defeated local rivals Leeds Rhinos 24-22 at Odsal.

Dalton Grant, Jake Webster, Sam Hallas and Mikey Wood got on the scoresheet for the Bulls.

Halifax have made the Challenge Cup quarter-finals for the first time in 17 years after beating Dewsbury Rams 34-6 at the Tetley’s Stadium.

Chester Butler (2), James Woodburn-Hall, James Saltonstall (2) and Shaun Robinson went over for Fax.

Catalans Dragons began their defence of the Challenge Cup with a dominant 62-6 win over Doncaster at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

Brayden Wiliame (4), Matt Whitley (2), Jason Baitieri, David Mead (2), Fouad Yaha (2) and Tony Gigot crossed the whitewash for the Dragons.

Wakefield Trinity ran-out 26-6 winners against Widnes Vikings at the Mobile Rocket Stadium.

Max Jowitt, David Fifita, Ben Jones-Bishop, Lee Kershaw and Justin Horo scored for Trinity.
