Celtic 18-40 Harlequins

Harlequins piled on the misery for struggling Celtic with a 40-18 thrashing at Brewery Field.

Quins never looked like losing after a blistering opening 25 minutes saw them take an 18-0 lead, with tries for Tony Clubb, David Howell and Danny Orr.

Adam Peek grabbed a consolation for the home side, but a try from Chris Melling and Orr’s second put the game out of reach for the Crusaders.

Luke Dorn added a brace of tries in the final quarter, with Marshall Chalk and Mark Dalle Cort scoring four pointers to at least give the home fans something to cheer about.
