Wakefield Trinity have confirmed that Mason Caton-Brown will be joining them from Salford for the 2017 season.

The outside back has inked a two-year deal for the Belle Vue side.

Trinity coach Chris Chester is delighted that the 23-year-old is joining his squad.

“Mason will be a great addition to Wakefield, he is a quick and powerful player and I am looking forward to working with him next season,” Chester told his club’s official website.

“It is a great signing for us and it will give us fresh competition in the outside backs which is great for us as a club.”

Caton-Brown is looking forward to testing himself at a new club.

“I am excited for the new challenge at Wakefield, it is a great club,” he said.

“I am looking forward to working with Chris Chester and the team to build on the season they’ve had and to push myself further as a player.”
