Catalans without Micky McIlorum while Hull KR lose two regulars

Catalans Dragons star Micky McIlorum has been ruled out of Thursday’s clash with Hull KR while Robins regulars Andrew Heffernan and James Greenwood are also injured.

Hull KR coach Tim Sheens will be without two regulars in back-rower Greenwood and centre Heffernan.

Robins’ new recruit Danny Tickle and young outside-back Will Oakes come into the 19-man squad.

Steve McNamara has made two changes to his Catalans Dragons squad lost to St Helens last week. McIlorum has been ruled out with an injury while Antoni Maria has also dropped out.

Winger Fouad Yaha and Papua New Guinea hooker Paul Aiton return to the squad. Luke Walsh has also been declared as fit enough to play.

The Dragons have only named an 18-man squad as they are waiting for the final decision of Benjamin Jullien’s suspension appeal, with the Frenchman being charged for dangerous contact on Saints’ Jonny Lomax last round.

The game takes place at the KCOM Craven Park on Thursday, 7:35pm kick-off.
