Tony Gigot has returned to Catalans Dragons, signing a deal which keeps him at the club until the end of the current season.

The 24-year-old utility back last played for the Dragons between 2010 and 2011, making 22 Super League appearances in the sang et or.

He has since spent time in Australia and with London Broncos.

“I’m delighted to be back the club,” said Gigot.

“I want to prove now I deserve this second chance.

“The club has really changed and I’m happy to be back at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium.”

Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous was delighted to welcome a player of such quality back to his club.

“Tony has been one of the best players in the French championship this season,” he said.

“He has matured a lot since his first experience with the Dragons and is ready for this new challenge.

“He is a young French player with great potential and that’s why we have chosen to give him that second chance.

“His signing will add depth and competition in the squad.”
