Catalans have signed French international prop Sebastien Martins until the end of the season.

Martins, 23, played for the Dragons during their inaugural Super League season in 2006 and has since been playing for Pia in the French league.

He said: “I’m delighted to join Catalans. The Super League is a very exciting championship and I look forward to play again under the Catalans jersey.”

Catalans Football Manager, Sebastien Munoz, said: “It’s a very positive signing for the club because Sébastien is a home grown player. He made this year a great season and proved he had a real potential to play in Super League.”

Meanwhile, Catalans have allowed young second-rower Florian Quintilla to join Toulouse on loan for the rest of the season.
