Catalans pair dropped for disciplinary reasons

Catalans pair Dimitri Pelo and Setaimata Sa have been dropped for disciplinary reasons, the club has said.

Winger Pelo, 25, and centre Sa, 22, will not play any part of Saturday’s Super League clash with Crusaders.

A club statement said: “The Dragons will be making no further comment regarding this matter at this stage.”

Pelo joined Catalans in 2007 and has made more than 75 appearances for the French club, running in more than 35 tries, as well as representing France at international level.

Kiwi centre Sa, who has also represented Samoa, joined the Dragons at the beginning of this season after four years in the NRL with Sydney Roosters.
