Catalans pair avoid suspension

Sam Tomkins and Kenny Edwards have avoided suspension following incidents in Catalans’ defeat to St Helens at the weekend.

Tomkins, 30, received a Grade A dangerous contact charge and a zero-match penalty notice after an incident with Jack Welsby.

Meanwhile, Edwards received a caution for kicking out during the 50-14 defeat.

Tomkins is free to face Hull on Friday night, while Edwards is set to miss the game under the concussion protocol.
