Catalans offer full-time deals to six players from reserves

Catalans have agreed full-time deals with six players from the club’s reserve team and have offered a further four deals to junior players.

The Dragons have handed a total of 10 new deals to players who have progressed through the club’s academy system.

Reserve team players Romain Franco, Mathieu Cozza, Tiaki Chan, Valentin Zafra, Bastien Scimone and Ugo Martin have all penned full-time contracts.

Junior reserve team players Romain Khedimi, Maxime Jobe, Joe Chan and Alan Baby have signed their first contracts with the Dragons.

Catalans have further strengthened their reserves. Back-rower Jayson Goffin, 18, will link up with the club’s reserve team after impressing with Villeneuve in the French Elite Championship.

Tom Azema, 18, who came through the ASM Clermont Auvergne rugby union system, will also join the club on trial along with Carpentras playmaker Hugo Bravo.
