Catalans have given young prop Lambert Belmas a new one-year deal.

The 22-year-old made his Super League debut in 2017, making 15 first-team appearances so far. He has also earned four caps for France.

Dragons coach Steve McNamara said: “Lambert is a young prop forward whose physical development over the last 12 months has now put him in the position to genuinely compete for a place in the first-team on a more regular basis.

“We look forward to seeing him continue to work hard to achieve that aim.”

Belmas added: “I’m really happy to stay at the club.

“I can’t wait to start the pre-season and the new season to achieve my goals.”
