Catalans front-rower Paul Séguier has joined Toulouse on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has found chances hard to come by at Catalans Dragons this season and has made the switch to Championship side Toulouse Olympique in hope to receive more game time.

Séguier has made eight appearances since making his first team debut for Catalans in 2016 and is a France Under-18s international.

He is looking forward to getting some minutes under his belt with Toulouse.

Séguier said: “I am very happy to come to Toulouse, where I can gain playing time.

“It’s a club I always hear good things about, especially from guys I know in the team like Anthony Marion and Clement Boyer.”

Olympique chairman Sarrazain Bernard thinks Séguier will be a good fit for the club.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to our ranks.

“This reinforcement will be very helpful. Thanks to Catalans Dragons for the loan, and I welcome the good relationship between our two clubs.”
