Catalans forward Jason Baitieri handed two-match ban

Catalans forward Jason Baitieri faces a two-match suspension for a Grade C dangerous contact.

The France international was handed the two-match penalty notice for a Grade C dangerous contact offence in their 30-12 defeat to London on Saturday.

Baitieri is set to miss the Dragons’ upcoming games against Hull FC and Leeds.

Elsewhere, St Helens forward Jack Ashworth has been handed a one-match penalty notice for Grade B striking with the shoulder.

Ashworth’s team-mate, James Bentley, will not face suspension after receiving a Grade A dangerous throw charge.

Castleford’s Jake Trueman and Warrington’s Dec Patton were issued with cautions for a dangerous contact and trip respectively.
