St Helens returned to the top of the Super League with a come from behind win against Catalans in France.

Gary Wheeler‘s late score secured the two points for Saints who found themselves 22-10 down at the break, but hit back with a battling second half performance.

A brace of tries for Steve Bell and Thomas Bosc gave Catalans the half time lead, bvut tries from Paul Wellens, Francis Meli and Leon Pryce turned the game on its head in the second half.

But Adam Mogg edged Catalans back in front, but Wheeler’s try and Sean Long‘s subsequent conversion consigned Catalans to their fifth straight defeat.
