Catalan have moved to sign Warrington back-rower Louis Anderson on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old, who weighs in at 103kg, has played 85 games for the Wolves, scoring 19 tries in the process. He helped his side to the 2010 Challenge Cup Finalo after scoring a hat-trick against his new club Catalan in the semi-final.

Previously of the New Zealand Warriors, he scores 7 tires in 67 appearances for the NRL outfit before joining his older brother Vinnie at Warrington in 2008.

Anderson won his first cap with New Zealand in 2004 and went on to play thirteen consecutive Tests and was part of the 2005 Tri Nations winning side.

Commenting on the move, Louis stated “I am excited to join the Catalans. They have been outstanding this season so far. I am also looking forward to the French lifestyle and enjoying a different culture in a wonderful country.”

Catalan Head Coach Trent Robinson added “Louis is an exciting signing for us for the next three seasons. He has shown his quality in Super League and he is a big game player. At the age of 26 and with the experience he will bring, he would be a great addition to our squad.”
