Catalan coach Laurent Frayssinous is missing no fewer than eight first team players through injury for Saturday’s trip to Wakefield.

Jason Baitieri, ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, is the latest casualty for the Dragons, who have already lost Kiwi full-back Brent Webb for the rest of the campaign.

Scott Dureau, who returned to training this week, is still a few weeks away from making a return, while Olivier Elima, Julian Bousquet and Louis Anderson are also on the sidelines.

Veteran back-rower Steve Menzies and former Wakefield centre Daryl Millard are also missing.

France international Vincent Duport does return from injury though, to take his place in Frayssinous’ 19-man squad.
