Catalan confirm Webb deal

Catalan have signed Leeds full-back Brent Webb on a two-year deal.

Webb, 31, has played his final game for the Rhinos having been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.

Dragons coach Trent Robinson said: “I’m very happy to welcome Brent into our squad for next season. He is a class player with a wealth of experience which will add value on and off the field.”

The Kiwi international moved to Super League in 2007 from New Zealand Warriors, and scored 86 tries in 156 appearances for Leeds.

He becomes Catalan’s second signing for the 2013 season, following the capture of back-rower Zeb Taia from Newcastle Knights.
